Designer Linnea Lund was born in Sweden, in a family embodying the values of the country: kindness, warmth, patience, and a taste for comfort. She had the idea to create Linnea Lund because she wanted to create scarves for her mother and her grandmother. The brand name pays homage to the middle name that was given to the woman in my family, Linnea - coincidentally, it's also the Italian word for 'thread'! "Lund" is a Swedish word meaning community, tribe, or family.
