Russian missile and drone strikes have killed at least 21 people across Ukraine, including six children in Kryvyi Rih and five in Kharkiv, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Thirty-four others were injured in Kharkiv following a targeted attack using six Shahed drones. In Kherson, a Russian FPV drone struck the city's thermal power plant. Zelenskyy condemned the attacks, asserting they were deliberate and targeted critical energy infrastructure—despite prior Russian assurances to the US to avoid such actions.

He emphasized that diplomacy alone will not bring peace, stating Russia has rejected ceasefire proposals since March 11. “Every Russian promise ends with missiles or drones,” Zelenskyy said. Meanwhile, from March 23–25, US-led expert-level talks with Russia and Ukraine were held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. These discussions, following President Trump’s high-level calls with both leaders, focused on Black Sea security and diplomatic steps toward lasting peace.
