Q: How does it feel to be featured on the front cover of DE MODE magazine?
A. Returning to the illustrious cover of DE MODE magazine for the second time, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of joy and gratitude. It is an absolute pleasure to once again grace these pages and be part of such a prestigious publication. The opportunity to showcase my work and share my journey with the DE MODE community is a privilege that I hold.
Q: What motivated your decision to relocate to Dubai and how does it impact your career in both Bollywood and Hollywood?
A. I lived in Dubai back in 2018. It is such an easy place to live and to travel to and from and I can move around easier depending on where work takes me and that is why I have made the decision to move back. It is also only a 2-hour flight to India.
Q: Can you share some insights into the challenges you faced as an aspiring actress and how you remained dedicated to your craft?
A. I believe you have to be in it for the long haul. It has been my dream ever since I was a teenager and I have been dedicated to it ever since even if I have taken breaks in-between. I always stay consistent and dedicated to the craft of being an actress and am always learning. It is one thing learning to be an actress but it is another to be employed and working as an actress and it is always at the forefront of all that I do.
Q: What draws you to the world of acting and what particular roles or genres do you find most intriguing?
A. The world of acting has always drawn me in some way or another. Opportunities have always presented themselves to me. When I was younger I was told I was a ‘natural’ by drama teachers and dance teachers and winning Miss World for my state at 17 helped solidify that. I started doing photoshoots and it sort of snowballed from there. If I had to choose a genre it would be action – purely because I have a love for martial arts and for fitness and I think it makes for some of the most interesting films.
Q: How do you balance your multifaceted talent for modeling and acting, and do you have a preference between the two?
A. I started off modeling and then worked my way onto the screen. I love acting as the jobs are always so different, you’re working with different people all the time and being in character and memorizing lines involves more work and preparation than I could have ever imagined, particularly when the script is in a different language. I love challenging myself and I am always looking to improve myself personally or professionally. There is always something I can work on and improve with each new acting project that comes up.
Q: What can readers expect from your upcoming projects and collaborations in both Bollywood and Hollywood?
A. Expect to see a whole new me! I have never been more ready for my next project.
Q: Could you share any memorable experiences or lessons learned while working on previous acting projects?
A. I remember being in London, in Picadilly Circus for the filming of a Bollywood film 'Guest In London' at night when it was so busy and so many people were walking by. We had a section closed off for filming and for the crew, but I just remember having to stay in character whilst the crowd around us kept watching. It was such a surreal moment and I started to feel incredibly grateful thinking about how hard I had worked to get to that moment and it was finally there.. This will be a moment I’ll never forget.
Q: As you eye brand ambassador roles, what values or causes do you hope to represent and promote through your association?
A. Brand ambassador roles are really special because you work so closely with the creative team and the owners or CEOs who really value your feedback on creative direction. I tend to work with brands who I have strong relationships with and my values align with theirs.
Q: Can you shed light on the role of passion and perseverance in your journey as an actress and model?
A. It comes down to working very, very hard, being authentic to you, thinking outside the box and being kind.
Q: How do you stay motivated and continue to push boundaries in an ever-evolving entertainment industry?
A. You have to have great people around you who support your dreams. Every day I wake up thinking about how I can get closer to my goal and I break it down.
Q: Are there any dream roles or collaborations that you aspire to pursue in the future?
A. My dream role would be to be a Bond girl.
Q: What advice would you give to aspiring models and actors who are just starting their journey in the industry?
A. This one might seem cliché but never giving up holds true, Usually, something spectacular happens on the verge of quitting so my advice would be to keep working. Don’t stay stagnant for too long, keep busy and keep moving.
Q: How do you prioritize self-care and maintain a healthy work-life balance amidst a demanding schedule?
A. Self-care and maintaining a healthy work-life balance comes down to daily habits. I have daily, weekly, and monthly disciplines that keep my health and self-care goals in check.

A. I would say a big thank you for listening, supporting, and reading. I am excited to share the next chapter of my journey with you all.
